  • 1 pound chicken breasts or thighs, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup green beans or snap peas
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and slicing the chicken. Mince the garlic.
  2. Marinate the sliced chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and half of the minced garlic for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Cook the marinated chicken until browned and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the onion and bell peppers until crisp-tender.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan along with the remaining garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and optional chili flakes. Stir well and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
