Description

A creamy, comforting pasta dish that combines tender farfalle noodles, seasoned ground beef, and a rich homemade Alfredo sauce. Perfect for weeknights or a casual gathering, this recipe brings cozy flavors together in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
    • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through (7–8 minutes). Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and nutmeg (if using). Continue stirring until sauce thickens. Season to taste.
  • Add cooked pasta and beef back into the skillet. Toss until evenly coated. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time if the sauce is too thick.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
